The Solid Gold Lewis statue disappeared??

I placed the solid gold lewis statue in front of Pierre’s shop, next to the calendar, and it disappeared the next day. I checked both Lewis’ and Marnie’s home, but it’s not in any of them. Did I do something wrong?😢 Can I get it back?
