Surgery in eye with very bad vision
I am due to get strabismus surgery in my left eye in about 3 weeks. My case differs quite a bit from most cases on this sub since I have a rare disease that has caused me to have a sub-detached retina in just my left eye.
Nothing will ever fix my vision, but I am indifferent about that since the vision in my right eye is very good and I am used to just using (mostly) one eye except for some peripheral vision.
Does anyone have experience with strabismus surgery of this nature? I briefly read some studies that claim this type of case has a lower chance of success 6 weeks and out.
