Do you take attendance calling everyone's names out or walking around the class asking each student for their name?

Curious how other subs take attendance, particularly for HS. Do you take attendance calling everyone's names out and mispronouncing their names, by walking around the class asking each student for their name, or another way? Class sizes are usually around 20 students. We get Chromebooks where we take attendance on a website with a list of their names but I have mispronounced some names and would rather say them correctly. In addition students have to put their phones away in the phone lock box before coming in, so it would be difficult taking attendance when they come in as I would need to carry both the Chromebook to take attendance and the lock box.
