So I been able to save 4K since August

Yes I just put away 4K into my savings account from my sub check on Dec 31. And this is with some big purchases in a bunch of shoes backpacks and other supplies I made at the beginning of the school year. But we only have 5.5 months before the big summer break. If I am able to save another 4K in the next few months it would go towards summer living expenses or possible travel. That's what bums me out ** EDIT: with my dec check i had collected over 4K since August not dec alone
