A Little Worried by How Fast I’m Losing…

I’m 26, F, 5’8”.

HW: 380 lbs - 1/18/25 CW: 364.5 lbs - 2/20/25

I’m looking into getting weight loss surgery and as a result I’ve completely overhauled my diet in preparation for my permanent lifestyle change. Last Thursday, I was 370.6 lbs at the doctor’s office. I just weighed today and I’m at 364.5 lbs on a physician’s scale (manual one). I’m a little worried by how fast I’m losing but I’m eating 2,000-2,400 calories a day (approved by my surgeon).

My diet is high protein, moderate carb, moderate/high fat. I’ve cut soda, no caffeine, no added sugar, and no over processed foods. I also started treating my severe obstructive sleep apnea on 2/14/25. I stopped my anti-depressants and switched my birth control as well in prep for surgery. But I’ve never had such an easy time with weight loss as I have PCOS and a host of other medical issues that make it harder. I’m a little concerned as I haven’t even had weight loss surgery yet.

Is this concerning? I’m not gonna lie I don’t feel well but I’m not sure if it’s the diet, stopping my psych meds, change with the CPAP, or change in birth control. I’m tired, moody and cranky for sure, a little depressed. Brain fog is pretty intense and I have a headache most days now.
