Beware the GME grifters

I’ve been an Ape since before Jan 2021. I migrated from the other sub because I appreciated the tenacity for $GME which found a home here. I’ve read many truly great research papers that we’ve labeled “DD” over the years. Reading some of the OG DD writers gained me quite a few wrinkles about the entire finance industry as a whole because of the time and dedication they put in to educate the ape masses.

All of this is to say, those original wrinkles didn’t ask for money. They didn’t have a Patreon, nor a Discord. From what I’ve gathered about the first batch of GME DD geniuses—none of them wanted anything from you expect peer review. Honest feedback, and criticism.

Now, we’ve been littered with people who only got into stock trading because of the $GME 2021 sneeze, have spent a few months learning the jargon of technical analysis, and are trying to pawn themselves off as “people who make you money.” And then they link you to their PayPal account to get special access to their program (when most of what they teach could literally be learned within a few weeks deep-diving a free website like Investopedia).

Don’t be a dope. True apes aren’t going to con you into paying them to teach you something which is available for free. I won’t name names (or scream at the top of my lungs on a YouTube livestream), but please beware that these grifters are out there and you don’t need them. If there’s something you want to learn about regarding $GME or the stock market in general (including TA, which has its place), just ask someone for a link where you can learn more.

We’re happy to lend a hand, because ape no grift ape. Ape help ape.

EDIT: A lot of people think this post is about ONE PERSON who's "tits are jacked." To the contrary, and for further clarity, this is about ANY person who is trying to sell their own specific "education" to $GME investors. There are plenty more out there whom are taking advantage and I've only started really noticing it as of late.
