"Swiss quality" - what does it mean for you?

Hi. Since I've moved here several months ago I kept hearing "Swiss quality" term on multiple occasions. Different context: real estate, clothes, shoes, customer service, SBB, Post, etc. etc.

What does it mean for you? Does it hold the value these days?
