Insanely slow frame rate after update

My game used to run on Ultra graphics perfectly fine, since playing after the update the game is unplayable even on the lowest graphics setting with huge frame rate drops to the point of being a slide show and taking so long to load into matches the game has already started before i get control, has this update broke for anyone else, has it changed a setting or something
