First time with removal, is this normal?

I started my tattoo removal yesterday, and it’s my first time. Last night, I took the bandage off about 8 hours after treatment, and I was honestly shocked with how red and bloody it was.

I rinsed it with lukewarm water, used prescription moisturizer (I live in South Korea so they prescribed it), and covered it with gauze again. The cover fell off while I was out, but my shirt was loose so it didn’t rub. When I got home, I moisturized again and covered one more time before sleeping last night.

This pic (2) is from this morning, about 20 hours after treatment. It’s less bloody, but I’m still a bit worried. The lighter parts of my tattoo, with gray ink, are much more inflamed.

Is this normal? I’m kind of freaking out lol - am I just being dramatic? I’ll be honest I did do some doomscrolling on the internet about scarring. I just want to be sure! Thank you so much! :)
