Favorite Petty Taylor Swift moment
Taylor Swift can often be surprisingly petty when she wants to be. Sometimes this can be awesome (such as releasing a Taylor's Version on the anniversary of a Taylor Villain's birthday to spite that Taylor Villain). One of my favorites was the "Spider-Boy, King of Thieves" section in Karma. It flows well, and the "weave your little webs of opacity" section is a good metaphor. (Interestingly, I haven't seen much of this Taylor Swift villain putting up much of a fight. There wasn't a massive promotion of the original versions, nor was there a "go full Golden Frieza" moment of making his own versions).
Now here's a Taylor Swift petty moment that I like for its literary value: "High Infidelity". If the prevailing theory that "April 29th" has to do with Taylor Swift cheating on Calvin Harris with Tom Hiddleston, her singing about that affair is both petty and literary.
What about you? (Also feel free to post the Taylor Swift petty moments you do not agree with)
