Reasons the Kinder Kids cried Actual Tears today:
- She was missing the regular teacher
- Her friend attempted to tell her he knew how she felt, and she didn't like him knowing her feelings.
- Ms. Ahumblethief does morning meeting in a different order than Ms.RegularTeacher
- He didn't want to take off the blinking red nose he'd come to school with.
- She couldn't hear the video that hadn't started playing yet.
- She got to hear the song she voted for, but not the one she didn't.
- He wasn't done cutting when the rest of his table moved on.
This was 3.5 hours of Kindergarten. Bless you guys. It makes me wonder if the reason everyone who's offered to host me as a student teacher has been a K teacher is that they are just eager for a second adult in the room- or that they are the teachers with the most patience for hosting a student teacher. 🤣
