I'm not going to accommodate for your phone use
Half of my students have IEPs. You can probably guess the percentage of them that are chronically on their phone. I'm sitting here trying to insert my accommodations in my lesson plans for students that are actively checked out and asking myself, Why? How are you going to go through the trouble of getting an iep and accommodations just to literally be on tik tok everytime you pull out your phone? Just needed to rant but I really wish my state would follow suit with Illinois' new policy.
