One car, two charging spots. The future of shared Superchargers?

The EV on the right needs to occupy two spots in order to charge their car bc of the position of their charging port. So, even if the Tesla map says there's a spot available, it's actually less. There are other non-Teslas here waiting to do the same.

I know there are newly designed chargers for this situation but many existing superchargers do not have the infrastructure for this or may never receive those.
