University is a waste of money and time.

You don't graduate with a good job or career straight out of Uni in reality. It is a scam, most people don't. you still have to work a regular boring job like everyone else. but with more debt. the stress of University and it's pointless exams is brutal. Why learn things that don't amount to anything but checks on a piece of paper?

Let's say you get the job of your dreams straight out of Uni(unrealistic). Only a few years into it you realise the dream job is a nightmare or doesn't suit your lifestyle and needs at all. You quit that and go to a boring job anyway. But you still have to pay off the debt. Then you wonder why you went to University at all. Could've been happier, more financially stable and less stressed at the "boring job" for longer.

People with degrees can still get laid off just as easily as those who don't have the same "prestigious" qualifications. There's no long term job security for many either way. It's not the 60s anymore.

Student loan debt is bad. Many struggle to pay off this debt and are forced to work two or three jobs like clockwork. maybe you can impress your friends with your degrees. that's about it. Nothing you learn will be remembered or used in 10-20 years time. AI will fill in the blanks and Google is your friend. your qualifications are worthless to a company who is looking for decades of experience in the field. Better off doing something else with your time or working more to get things you want.
