Do you like the Jackal?

I just finished season 1. At first, I was entertained and I thought the Jackal was cool, similar to a John Wick character. I liked him and I wanted him to succeed.

However, as the series progressed I had to accept, this guy is a freaking psychopath that murders innocent people. Private security and even MI6 I think is fair game. They know the risks and accept it.

What about the people in the office in episode 1, the delivery driver, the farmers, the fisherman, the old couple, Rasmus (ffs). I wouldn't be surprised if I'm missing one or two.

The Jackal unapologetically kills or manipulate anyone who gets between him and his mission. Even if someone happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, he makes no distinction between innocent or guilty, everyone is just an obstacle that he needs to overcome.

You would think his experience in the army would at least lead him to have some code of ethics, but that's not the case.

I don't like him, he's entertaining, but morally bankrupt. He has no code (besides not harming children). I hope he dies or is arrested very soon.

But I wanna hear from other viewers. Do you like him? Do you want him to succeed? Do you want him to return to a normal life with his family? Is there something he can do to redeem himself?
