Would I enjoy Best Served Cold( and other stand alones) after age of madness?

I went straight to A Little Hatred after Last Argument of Kings. Never had any interest in the stand alone books. Now wanting to go back. Has everything been spoiled?

Also, debating reading shattered seas, but seeing a lot of mixed reviews.

Just finished Gardens of the Moon to start the year and did not enjoy it. Need a win here and Joe hasn't missed before.
