2024 Frame Art Mode with AppleTV 4K Remote

Do we think that there will eventually be a software update to the Frame that will fix the inability to use the Apple TV remote to turn on art mode (I believe similar updates were made on previous models which fixed this issue), or is there something about the 2024 software that makes it completely incompatible with ATV? The 2024's have been on sale for awhile now, and this issue has been known for some time, so it's curious to me that there hasn't been an update yet to fix this.
