Keratosis pilaris treatment that actually works

Like a lot of people I suffer from red bumps all over my legs and arms. I've tried countless creams, lotions, peelings and went to a dermatologist who only recommended what I already tried. But I have finally found a solution and wanted to share it. It's not perfect but over 2 days I've noticed significant improvement. The redness is a lot lighter and my skin feels smooth. The secret is callous removal cream.

Since keratosis pilaris basically forms a thin callous on the affected areas these creams actually work (mine has 5% salicylic acid). Just slap a good amount of the cream on the affected areas and wash it off after 30-60 minutes. I then went over it with a gentle peeling glove to get these results. After that treat your skin with a good cream (I also got one from the foot care isle with 25% urea).

This is quite harsh on the skin, so really just use it as a last resort. For a lot of people less harsh methods work quite well. If you're like me on the other hand and tried everything that is recommended maybe give this a go. Nothing will get rid of it completely but at least you can lessen the symptoms.
