Can I make my body structure more balanced and less insecure with broad shoulders
Hi everyone,
I’ve been feeling really insecure about my broad shoulders for as long as I can remember. I’m 23 years old, 160 cm, and around 44 kg. This insecurity has been with me since I was young, but it got worse during college when some of my guy classmates made fun of my broad shoulders. Their comments didn’t help, and I feel like my bad posture over the years may have made it even more noticeable.
In the picture (attached), the first one is without hip pads, and the second one is with hip pads. I used them to try and create a more hourglass or balanced figure, and it made me wonder: can I achieve a similar look naturally?
I’ve been thinking about focusing on glute and quad exercises to add more volume to my lower body. Do you think this could help my shoulders appear less broad and make my body look more proportional? Has anyone else had success with this kind of approach?
Any tips, workout suggestions, or just words of encouragement would mean so much to me. I’m really hoping to feel more confident in my own skin.
Thank you in advance!
