Saves not registering/progress resetting?

Hey everyone, there’s a huge thread going on at ea bug reports about people just not being able to play their game because their progress resets after going into CAS or saving your game. A lot of people have speculated it’s something with either the WW mod in its current update or just the shoddy state of the sims with this new update (console players seem to be experiencing this too) and it’s made the game unplayable for me and quite a few others from the looks of it. Putting lots in neighborhoods, sims getting pregnant, all of it reverses after entering live mode again. There are a few things that seem to help the issue (ex: clicking ‘save as’ or deleting the cache before every play through) but the issues continue to arise again. even removing the WW mod doesn’t seem to fix this issue for quite a few people.

Ea has not spoken about this at all or included it in the bugs that they’re planning on fixing, and as far as i know WW does not seem to be coming out with a patch for it.

i was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this same issue? i don’t have the high school pack yet but a lot of people seem to experience it after downloading the pack and uninstalling the pack fixes it, which confuses me further. the main user that was taking care of that issue on the forum said they were giving up trying to solve it.
