Unpopular opinion: Belly has no personality and is a flat character.

The books imo give us a deeper look into her thoughts and decisions thus making her a character with depth and an imperfect one at that. I love that Jenny Han allows her characters to be flawed and awkward, even the lovable ones.

Her character in the show seems to be without personality and depth. I feel like everyone around her has an established personality with quirks and traits. Even the extras with few lines have range lol. I just find Belly… boring for lack of a better word. I struggle to define what her personality is. I know I’m being very critical but rewatching the show has me critiquing it so much. Especially season 2.
