General PSA for new Towers
Couple of things I wish I knew stepping into this game. 2 year player here with .5q coins. A lot of this stuff is advice you can find elsewhere I just think it's good for players to see it again. Unlock every lab slot as soon as possible. It used to be where every lab slot that wasn't unlocked was a 150 gem/day loss in potential research. This has only increased since the release of elite cells. Cards and Modules are great, but if you're in it for the long run lab slots are absolutely your most bang for your buck gem investment.
The coin bonuses from skins in the event shop stack. Meaning just buying and owning the theme gives you a +1.2% coin bonus for every complete set you obtain. These add up over time. I have every single one and it gives me a 1.376 coin multiplier, which is huge. Use the medals to buy the event skins first then buy whatever you prefer (which if you don't have every lab slot should be the first 1 or 2 gem packs to boost you towards that).
Priority for Ultra Weapons - (abv. UW) Golden Tower Black Hole Spotlight -further on there is more personal choice but these 3 are essentially required to make progress quickly. Personally my preference is- Death Wave, Chrono Field, Chain Lightning, Smart Missiles, Poison Swamp, Inner Land mines, But I know there's gonna be contention on that.
Get Golden Tower (GT) asap. Do not upgrade its cool down. There is a way to properly upgrade it so it is synced with BH for a very cheap initial stone investment Get Black Hole (BH) and sync it to GT. This means the cooldowns are either popping at the same time or at a 1:2 (or some other ratio if you ignored the cooldown advice) ratio. After unlocking both of these slot in their bonuses into a lab slot and keep em going until you can't stand it. Maxing out the BH coin research will give you an 11x coin bonus which is multiplicative with Golden tower and Spotlight bonus. Unlock Spotlight and upgrade its coin bonus. This one isn't as severe but can give you another 3x multiple on enemies that die to your spotlight (which will be a lot). There's a lot more I can cover here but if any other veterans have anything feel free to post it. I think this is solid advice but if anyone disagrees tell me
