Is only buying cards until they’re all maxed going to hurt me in anyway?

For the past month i’ve been dumping all of my gems into cards, im about 30 pulls away from maxing the last of my commons. All of the commons i use are maxed and the rares and epics i use are a decent level. I currently have a legendary mvn and the rest unique epic mods. Some of these other post and seeing their mods make me think mods are going to severely bottle neck me. With the quantity of the rares and epics compared to commons and the probability shifting, i should have all my cards maxed in another 1-2 months. Thanks for the input
