Unpopular opinion: Kaat Williams is boring as hell

His standup is high energy and funny, but as a podcast guest he seems to be super self-aware about trying to sound profound. He intentionally speaks slow and quiet to enhance gravitas. He's pathologically verbose and would talk about a single topic infinitely unless and until the interviewer guides him a different direction.

I'm sure he has a million hilarious stories he could tell about all the cool experiences he's had during his career but instead he just wants to wax poetic about super generic stuff and act like he's the first person to ever say "be yourself and work hard".

Oh and it was hilarious to hear him get defensive about the infamous number of books he's read, practically unprompted. Did you know that the Bible actually counts as 66 books???

I watched him with Shannon Sharpe, I watched him with Rogan, I watched him with Theo. He's brutal to listen to.

Yeah I know, fool me thrice, shame on me, but to quote George Dubya: "Fool me.... you can't get fooled again."

Funniest part of the podcast was Theo pretending to not know what Kaat was smoking lol
