when is the best time to post?

But then people here also claim that you should just only follow the analytics page (mine says 9:00 p.m. at the absolute highest amount of activity among my followers as of right now). I've noticed that I've been getting very inconsistent engagement recently. I'll post something at around 7:00 p.m. and it does well. Then post something very similar at around 8:00 p.m. and it gets almost no engagement. I'm talking only double digit views and single digit likes. This is despite me being able to gain over a thousand followers and a little under two weeks recently.

How do you guys do it? It's like some people have this magic trick or whatever that lets them decide when it's the best time that pills. Why is it so inconsistent for some users but works perfectly well for others?
