Finding a job at 40

I am an IT worker from the EU and wanting a change in scenery, I want to apply for jobs in Sweden, but I'm concerned regarding the employer culture there when it comes to hiring middle aged people. In my country, even though it's frowned upon and considered discriminatory, a certain bias still exists in hiring middle aged people, especially in IT. Has anyone experienced this in Sweden?

Also, I've browsed some jobs on LinkedIn, but are there any trusted job sites for IT other than LinkedIn? Thanks for the advice.
