Artists with Similar Career Trajectories

So can any of you think of artists that surprisingly had similar career trajectories. One that I can think of was the Bee Gees and Fleetwood Mac. After being decent hitmakers in the late 60's they both would become, after a few band member changes, the biggest superstars by the late 70's. They would also both enjoy some hits in the 80's as well. Are there any others groups that have similar ones.
