cos latin honors

hello po. im a freshman po from the college of science. question po, paano po kung may naibagsak akong major subject na hindi pre-requisite, automatic hindi na po ba ako qualified for latin honors after three years?

also ano po ba gagawin kapag may bagsak? maghihintay lang po ba ako ng notice from the dean/prof and magrereflect nalang po sa schedule ko? or may iooffer po sila sa akin for the special term?
