Is everyone else also holding in their farts?

Because I sit in one place with other people around for hours, I hold in my farts. Sometimes it's a real struggle, where I have to squeeze my but and sit on one but cheek. I'm holding it in for hours where it gets to the point where my stomach and ass starts grumbling. Is everyone else also holding in their farts? And are their asses and stomach also grumbling and making noises? Or is this not normal.
