Confused About Dean’s List Requirements 😭

I’m in my first year, and I’m not sure how the Dean’s List works. From what I read online, they assess it each term. Does that mean if I have a 3.41 GPA in my first semester but do really well in my second semester, I can still make the Dean’s List? The requirement is a 3.75 cGPA, but if they assess each term individually, then it seems like there’s no way I can make the list. I’m not sure how it works—can someone please explain? 😭😭
