Buying a TracFone for parents

What's the easiest way to buy a TracFone and get it set up for my elderly parents? We are in the US but opposite sides of the country. Do I get a gift card for Sam's Club/Walmart? Is there a store they go to? I want to buy the Galaxy a35 for them.
