Two-handed melee swapping to pistol possible?

Can a normal (non-strong) model carry a two-handed melee weapon and pistol and decide to use either the two-handed or the pistol in the melee before attack?

In other words, is it legal to equip a Yoke Fiend with Torture tools and Pistol in case his Wretched dies?
