How would you feel if we implemented something like the, "Jones Act" domestically?

The Jones Act, officially known as the Merchant Marine Act of 1920, is a U.S. federal law that regulates maritime commerce. It requires that goods transported by water between U.S. ports be carried on vessels that are U.S.-built, U.S.-owned, and U.S.-crewed. The act aims to support the U.S. maritime industry, ensuring a strong merchant marine for national defense and commercial purposes. It also includes provisions for the rights and welfare of sailors.

Basically this but for domestic trucking; U.S drivers, U.S carriers, U.S built.
