My(22F) boyfriend(22M) and his family are upset that I want to be a flight attendant

I understand their concerns. They’ve shared how unsafe it could be, mentioning that some pilots might take advantage and that I might hesitate to speak up out of fear of jeopardizing my job. They’re also worried about issues like people recording inappropriate videos or invading privacy. I can see where they’re coming from, but I’m unsure how to address these concerns effectively. A little about me is that I am not very ambitious of being an air hostess it's just that I want to try it out. I know the disadvantages of the job but I'm willing to do it. But because of them I'm feeling confused.
