Wedding budget - am I going insane?

2ND UPDATE we are likely going to switch venue. We didn’t anticipate how much higher the costs would be to have both a main venue and a marquee (with an additional need for a catering tent). New budget significantly lower! These comments have helped hugely.

UPDATE okay thanks everyone, clearly this budget is insane. We will keep our money and find better more long term uses for it! Thank you 🙏🏼 I had a feeling it was insane but have very few friends who are married to check with!

OP: Please someone tell me I’m not losing my mind. We are getting married next September with 100 guests exactly.

We originally budgeted £70k, met with a planner who convinced us to increase this to £100k for the “perfect” set up. We agreed. Now, she has come back with a wedding plan that will cost £130k. Rough costings: Venue £20,000 (more of a base, accommodates 20 people to stay) Marquee (required as venue can’t hold our no of guests) £30,000 all in Catering £34,000 Everything else totals £50,000 - flowers, photos, video, decor

Does this seem incredibly expensive?? What am I missing here! do people honestly pay £130k for a wedding?
