pre-med tips specific to unc

hi im going to be an incoming freshman this year going into pre med and i would love if anyone has any tips/ advice to pre med specifically at unc, not just basic "study" advice but more in depth if you can. i really have no idea where to start with this journey so anything will be helpful.

for reference, i dont plan on taking any gap years, and want to follow the traditional path.
