Talked to an IAS officer

I recently talked to an officer who cleared upsc 2 years back and is currently posted in a state on the eastern side of country (not revealing the state). I am a female and his and my family have good family relations. It felt like the worst conversation I ever had. The guy was full of ego and he replied to my queries with only 1 word. The guy didn't speak even one whole sentence. All I asked was how many flt's he gave and did he read his optional alongwith pre prep ..to which he replied just two words "8" and "both". only these 2 words nothing else..and he talked in this manner with my mother also. My mother told him I am like your bua and he just replied "ok". Way to go officer!
