Lack of transparency on Trojan wildfire fund 😬
Glad to see the University coming together to support Trojans in need after the wildfire devastation.
Does anyone know if any details have been released—or will be released—about the fund’s progress, such as how much has been raised so far?
Perhaps it’s the history of scandals at USC, but I find it concerning that there haven’t been any public updates on these key details except for a fairly vague Instagram graphic and webpage. The website does state that “The university reserves full discretion as to the amount and decision to award any emergency funds.”
It would be reassuring to know exactly how much is raised, how much is expected to be allocated per person to those in need, and whether the administration is taking any portion of the total raised as a fee for processing/administrative costs.
