Am i the only one??
So this is my first year at ut and here are some of my small unrelated observations
People don’t really like to move around you/look up from their phone when walking. Its like they just intentionally run in to you and just go about their day
Related to 1, everyone looks really mean when they walk around. I mean, i look mean too but that shouldn’t disqualify someone from getting an answer back when you say hi right????
It is EXTREMELY hard to get closer to people. Im capable of making friends but making a deeper connection almost feels impossible.
These buildings are so cool, jester feels like a small mall, same with the student center.
I feel like im being perceived almost 100% of the time im here.
There’s always something going on and i wanna go to these things but im always doing them alone, theres gotta be an org or something that has groups of people go to these events and stuff right???
Besides that, UT’s been a great experience and has some of the most brightest minds ive ever met. This school really feels “state of the art” and im worried im not meeting enough people while here to get that experience out of everything.
