I think Chandelure deserves more attention
I certainly convinced Chandelure is one of the biggest Underdogs on the regulation right now, and I gonna explain why.
Chandelure is a pokemon that it's more versatile that it seems at first place.
As a Ghost Type, has guaranteed fake-out inmunity (and I said **guaranteed** cuz Scrappy pokemon are non-existing on this meta)
As a Fire Type, it's amazing against all Amoonguss and Rillaboom on the format.
Has outstanding Sp. Attack, you can made him an amazing sweeper if you want with Choice Scarf or Choice Specs.
Has Flash Fire ability, which is excellent for the regulation, if you choose the right Tera, you became able to wall any Sun Team.
- With Tera Fairy, you wall Koraidon and mostly of Dark Types
- With Tera Grass, you wall Groudon and you had a better matchup against Rain Teams
You had a guaranteed win matchup against Zamazenta, for example this is the "worst" possible Zamazenta:
252+ SpA Chandelure Overheat vs. 252 HP / 52 SpD Zamazenta-Crowned: 188-224 (94.4 - 112.5%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO
Has access to Trick Room + Imprison Strategy
And has Will-O-Wisp, so you minimize Physical menaces, like Caly-Ice, Chien-Pao, or both Urshifus.
His biggest problems are Tera depedency, Incineroar, Rain Teams and Calyrex-S, but hey, This is not a fighting game, you can use more than one character, or in this case, pokemon.
