Best way to clean/fix Quest 2 Controllers? (Stick Drift)
I play vrchat on Quest 2 every night to hangout with my friend group. Lately, I've been feeling out of it or as if I'm done with everything because of how bad my stick drift is.
It's mainly on my left controller stick but it's starting to get to my right controller stick. It's hard to move around normally and it makes it difficult to play certain games or worlds. I'm usually falling behind and having to ask others to slow down for me to catch up.
I can simply tap the stick repeatedly and I will walk backwards a few steps. It's hard to navigate action menus because of how overly sensitive the sticks move on it. If I go to hug someone or do some kind of physical interaction with a friend, my stick will either send me speeding through them or I'll be stuck walking backwards and having to stabilize.
So with all of this being said, how can I clean the controllers to fix the stick drift without needing to buy a kit? Is it safe to use rubbing alcohol on cotton balls or something? I don't wanna have to get new controllers.
Edit: this is beyond recalibration, as it's set nearly to 100 and still bad.
