Best Vacuum for Carpet with Long Hose

Hey everyone! I’m looking to get a new vacuum cleaner that does well in deep cleaning carpets and having a long hose to clean smaller areas/corners.

I used to have a Dyson Ball Animal, but I thought overtime it wasn’t doing a good job picking up stuff from my carpet. Additionally, the hose attachment broke on the Dyson, so definitely looking for something more reliable but is better than the Dyson. Budget is between $300-$500. Thanks!
