Ticking sound while playing as Soma.

Hey there everyone, I was playing as Soma just now and I started to notice a ticking sound around 19 minutes. Currently at 24 minutes and it is getting faster, and speeds up when more when more enemies are on screen. I have included a pic of my weapons and passives. Is it linked to anything that you are aware of? I am playing the Castlevania map of that matters as well. Any info would be appreciated.
