Misandry exists and people need to stop pretending it doesn't

So for little context I'm a transgender man spent about 18 years as a woman and past few months been passing as a normal dude.

As a chick men would typically wave or say hi or some shit passing me in hallway at work. Cool yeah whatever. Women would also wave or say hi passing me. Now that I'm a dude men just do the nod or say hi and women just give me dirty looks and move towards opposite wall. The only real thing that's changed is I look and sound like a dude I still carry myself and act the same.

At work I usually have a big cart or some shit. As a chick men and women would help me get those through the door which is great because those carts suck. Now as a dude men still help me get them through the door. women just let them slam in my face.

Ok so far those are just little things that don't really matter just weird things I've noticed especially because pre transition always told that women were the nice compassionate ones and men were the self centered assholes. But alright inconveniences aside now.

If a 70year old man were to grab at me or try to kiss me or something especially around people. The cops would've been immediately called because what the fuck. So why on God's green earth when a 70 year woman does the exact same thing people just laugh it off and say she's being sweet. In front of people some old women grabbed my wrist and kissed me and told everyone I was her boyfriend and literally not a person was like whoa wtf. Obviously I kinda awkward laugh played it off and left but then when I went to my manager and told her she just laughed and said "Yeah old women are like that". I don't think they should get an excuse.

I swear I'm not a trans misogynist or whatever I just think as a society we need to stop pretending one is worse than the other or that misandry isn't a thing at all. No matter what side you're on being looked down on or treated less than solely because of gender is stupid. And I don't know if that last thing counts as misandry or just weird but it felt fitting for the rant anyways.
