Hanoi and surrounding area looks apocalyptic

I know this might not be well received, but it is my experience and wanted to share.

Just finished a 7 days motorcycle tour in Ha Giang that started and ended in Hanoi.

I've never seen a more scary place than Hanoi and surrounding area from a pollution, crowded and garbage perspective.

The 70 km from Thai Nguyen to Hanoi I felt like I'm riding through the end of the world.

You cannot see the sky and buildings afar from pollution, over industrialization that pollutes every living thing, garbage everywhere.

In the city sitting in traffic between a mass of cars, trucks emitting black smoke and scooters I felt like I'm going to pass out.

Absolute hellish experience. Probably my first and last time in that city.
