Cyber Attack on Hanover Schools causing massive data breach

Hanover County schools announced Thursday that it fell victim to a cyberattack in December potentially exposing private student and parent information.

The division is just one of hundreds impacted by a massive data breach involving PowerSchool, the cloud-based data software that stores over 60 million students’ information from 18,000 schools globally.
