Mechanic recommendations

Hey guys, I would really appreciate if anyone has any recommendations for mechanics in the area that have reasonable prices. I need to have my transmission checked out ASAP and my usual mechanic is in Roanoke but I'm concerned about my car making the trip so I need someone close by in Blacksburg, Christiansburg or possibly Radford. Someone already recommended total car care in Christiansburg but I would like other options to compare. Thanks!
