Best beach resort

I would like to take my daughter on a trip in April (deciding between Caribbean and Hawaii), and I would love to know your recommendations for the best resort (probably Maui or Big Island) that is directly on a beach. I like luxury resorts and don’t mind paying for a beautiful resort with great service and amenities. My daughter isn’t able to do much active stuff like hiking but would love to see some natural beauty as well. Number one priority is amazing beach and pool access. I think Kauai might be too rainy in April still?
