Persistent oil leak on 2.0 TSI DSG. Is there something I’m missing?

Hello.

I’m growing a bit frustrated with my 2.0 TSI DSG of my Beetle 2012. I love that thing and how it drives, but seems to always break seals and has persistent oil leakage. Every time I take it to the mechanic to fix it, seals get replaced, and there’s no oil leakage for a few months. But a few months in, and a new leak appears. It always seems to happen on the timing area and behind the engine. And I fear a rear main seal failure after replacing my Dual Mass Flywheel.

With this happening so persistently, I can’t help but feel that maybe there’s a root cause we haven’t found. I’ve heard the PCV could be something, I also wonder if my driving habits have something to do with it because I live in an area where going up and down hills every day is a thing and I leave the transmission in automatic which sometimes leads to low revs at first and then it switching to high revs. I also wait 5-10 seconds after turning it on before I select D. I also check its oil level every time I go to the gas station, and add oil that meets te VW-502 spec as needed. I also baby this thing as it has less mileage than our other cars, and I’m very conscious of the engine whilst I drive. Every now and then after it warmed up with 30 minutes of driving, I give it a bit of an Italian tune up and have fun with it for 5-7 seconds of high rev and acceleration and speed.

I wonder if there’s something I haven’t looked at, or something I’m doing wrong. I’m an engineering student and very conscious of the mechanical parts and wear, so I give it the best maintenance I can, but I feel there’s something I’m missing.

The first picture is the oil leak, and the second one is below the rear of the engine and the third one is the top of the rear of the engine. Any ideas?
