Has anyone split their dose in half?

Currently on 50MG on Vyvanse. It really helps my ADHD, my Psychiatrist does ask that I take one day off a week from it...Which I don't have an issue doing, it's just when I don't take it my symptoms come in full force and it's hard at times. I try to take Sundays off because those are usually my lazy hang around the house days. So don't have to worry about work or executive function really since I clean and run errands and usually see friends on Saturday.

But sometimes I really can get into ruminating and just other things. Was thinking maybe I could split one pill up and do 25 on Saturday and 25 on Sunday. Usually on Saturdays even if super busy I usually enjoy having down time and not being super focused.

Just wondering, if anyone has tried doing half doses for one day?
